MARIANNA, Fla. — The annual University of Florida Peanut Field Day will be held at the Marianna North Florida Research and Education Center (NFREC) on Thursday, August 10, 2023. Registration and CEU sign-in begins at 7:45AM, with field tours starting promptly at 8:40AM, and ending with a sponsored lunch onsite. Tour groups will rotate through six field stops. Topics to be addressed include insect, disease, and fertility management, as well as variety updates and discussion of pesticide labels and use.
This event has been approved for Florida pesticide CEUs (up to three), Georgia pesticide CEUs, and Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) CEUs. Florida CEUs: (up to three from list) 1 Core (482 & 487), 2 Private, 2 Ag Row Crop, 2 Aerial, and 2 Demo and Research.
