Field Crops Report: Corn condition rated 6% very poor, 13% poor, 35% fair, 38% good, and 8% excellent. Corn mature was 80%, ahead of 75% last year and 71% for the five-year average. Harvested was 16%, near 14% last year and 12% average.
Soybean condition rated 6% very poor, 14% poor, 37% fair, 36% good, and 7% excellent. Soybeans dropping leaves was 90%, equal to last year, and near 87% average. Harvested was 20%, behind 27% last year and 26% average.
Winter wheat planted was 70%, near 67% both last year and average. Emerged was 26%, near 25% last year, and equal to average.
