TAMPA BAY — Each year, the Minnesota Soybean Research & Promotion Council (MSR&PC) partners with MEG Corp to host a See For Yourself trip in conjunction to Clean Fuels Conference (formerly known as the National Biodiesel Conference).
This year’s trip will connect 14 Minnesota farmers, fuel distributors and mechanics to network and learn more about the industry. With Minnesota being a national leader in the biodiesel market and having a 20% blending requirement during the summer months, MSR&PC understands how vital it is to continue engaging Minnesota’s biodiesel industry
“We have been doing the ‘See For Yourself” program for many years,” said Mike Youngerberg MSR&PC senior director of product development & commercialization. “And it still amazes me how much the industry changes from year to year. It is exciting to have a group of industry leaders from Minnesota to be able to immerse themselves into the programing and to continue to build their knowledge around biodiesel.”
This year’s agenda has diverse topics across the board. From reducing carbon to federal growth opportunities to advocating for clean fuels policy, the conference will enlighten attendees of the evolving clean fuels marketplace.

About Minnesota Soybean Research & Promotion Council
The Minnesota Soybean Research & Promotion Council oversees the investment of checkoff dollars on behalf of approximately 28,000 soybean farmers in Minnesota. The Council is governed by the rules of a federally mandated checkoff program requiring all soybean producers to pay a fee on the soybeans they sell. This money is used to promote, educate and develop market opportunities for soybeans.
