MANHEIM, Pa. — The Master Watershed Steward Program, in partnership with Artifice Ales and Mead is pleased to welcome you to Manheim, PA for Tap Talks: Invaluable Wetlands. Have you ever wondered why we should care about the wetlands and their importance? Join us for this in-person workshop to find out!
This is an extension of the larger Tap Talks series hosted by the Penn State Extension’s Master Watershed Steward Program.
Our speaker is Dr. David T. Osgood, Professor of Biology at Albright College, who will discuss how we can balance our need for economic progress with wetland ecological preservation and how we can help.
It will be an evening filled with information about our invaluable wetlands and together we will learn why we should care about these often-threatened places. Attendees will discover the importance of and the biggest threats to our wetlands and answer the question—can we have our cake and eat it too?
The Tap Talk will take place on Wednesday, July 12, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Artifice Ales & Meads, 55 N. Main Street, Manheim, PA. Enjoy a summer evening of good brews, great food, and discussion of an important topic.
This program is free, but attendees must be 21 years of age or older to register. To reserve your spot, visit https://extension.psu.edu/tap-
