Come join us for Fall Round-Up on October 11, 2023 at Stanton’s Feura Farm! Tour the farm and learn about raising pigs outdoors on pasture from the owners, hear about the nutritional requirements of pigs and how they can be met and discover how soil health is essential to maintaining excellent pasturage.
Cornell Cooperative Extension and the Regional Capital Area Agriculture & Horticulture Program are pleased to present this year’s Fall Round-Up Grazier’s meeting on October 11, 2023 at Stanton’s Feura Farm, 210 Onesquethaw Creek Road, Feura Bush, NY 12067. Fall Round-Up will begin at 5:00 pm and end at 7:00 pm.

This year, our Fall Round-Up focus is on raising pigs outdoors on pasture, including operation variations and management. We’ll view the farm’s pig operation with the owners of Stanton’s Feura Farm. Ashley McFarland of Cornell’s Central NY Livestock team will discuss pig nutritional requirements and Aaron Gabriel of the Capital Area Agricultural and Horticultural Program will perform and discuss a soil health assessment.
The cost to attend is $10.00 per person.
