SALEM, Ore. — Korea and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) will be visiting Oregon, Idaho and California. These Asian countries have been crucial trade partners for Oregon producers for years, Korea is currently the 5th largest export market for US food and agricultural products. Korean and Southeast Asian consumers value the products coming out of the Pacific Northwest and are looking for new trade partners. They are eager to meet with Oregon producers, so do not miss this opportunity and register now!
Event Overview:
It is a great opportunity to meet buyers from Korea and several SE Asian countries in person while they are in Oregon. This could be a crucial part in forming business relationships with foreign buyers eager to import Oregon products. (Below you can find types of products that buyers have expressed interest towards.)
Oregon will host buyers from Korea and Southeast Asia for two days. Afterwards the buyers from Korea will go to Idaho and buyers from ASEAN will go to California. There will be opportunities for Oregon participants to host tours of their farms and processing facilities if interested. There will also be opportunities for group meetings, one on one conversations, and to showcase products with buyers/business partners.
