CRESTVIEW, Fla. — The Six Rivers CISMA (Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area) and UF/IFAS Florida Land Steward Program are hosting an Invasive Species Workshop August 25, 2022, 9:00 am to 3:00 CT at UF/IFAS Okaloosa County Extension Office, (3098 Airport Rd, Crestview, FL 32539).
Private landowners are encouraged to attend. Join us to get the latest integrated strategies to control cogongrass, use herbicides effectively, use Early Detection and Rapid Response to get ahead of new invasive species like Brazilian peppertree, as well as advice on controlling problem species, and a partnership update from the Six Rivers CISMA.
