By purchasing a ticket, you support ongoing efforts to provide land, resources, and educational opportunities to the New American Community to grow food for themselves and their families; community events that connect people through the cross-cultural exchange of food traditions; and opportunities for growers to market, sell and distribute their produce to the community. Together, SCHF has grown thousands of pounds of food that has made its way onto plates throughout Central New York.

About Salt City Harvest Farm:
Salt City Harvest Farm (SCHF) was created in 2013 to serve the New American community who expressed the desire for larger parcels of land and access to infrastructure and resources to support farming. As the first farm in the region dedicated solely to New American farmers, SCHF has continued to work closely with the New American communities in Syracuse to help them build greater self-sufficiency, and connect them to sources of fresh, culturally important foods through a collaborative farming effort. Salt City Harvest Farm provides training, land access, and resources for New American families.
Mission: Salt City Harvest Farm grows food, culture, and community alongside the New American community through the cross-cultural exchange of food traditions with access to farmland, education, and economic opportunities.
The community at SCHF includes a rich cultural diversity of people from all over the world. We strive to connect people of all ages to new foods, cultures, and plants. We welcome you to visit, learn, and grow with us at the farm! For more information, visit www.saltcityharvest.farm.
