BEAVER CROSSING, Neb. — Hundreds of people attended Husker Harvest Days last week, three of whom left the tradeshow with the ability to say they helped donate $500 to their local Nebraskan FFA organization. Every person who completed their passport through the BASF booth, learning about seed innovation, new herbicides and farm technology, was entered in a drawing with a winner chosen each day. The prize? Five hundred dollars to a local 4-H or FFA chapter of their choice.

Husker Harvest Days took place September 12-14 in Grand Island, NE. Husker Harvest Days connects farmers, ranchers, retailers and those throughout the agriculture industry to gain insights, make connections and learn about the latest news in ag equipment and technology.

About the Donations:
Each of the FFA chapters are located in Nebraska. Postcards were sent to growers within a certain radius of Husker Harvest Days enticing them to come to the booth. The “passport” was part of the in-booth experience at HHD and was completed when they visited three different stops within the BASF booth where they learned about unique BASF offerings that help growers do the biggest job on earth. Each stop within the booth gave the growers a stamp on their passport.
