SOUTHWEST, N.Y. — Join Cornell Cooperative Extension of Erie County in their upcoming workshop, Agronomic Weed Management and Cover Crop Field Session, for local growers. This event will feature speakers and demonstrations from the Cornell Vegetable Program, Erie County Soil and Water Conservation District, the CCE Southwest NY Dairy, Livestock, and Field Crops Program, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, and more. Participants will learn about weed identification and management, herbicide efficacy, and see cover crop demonstrations. CCA Credits and DEC Credits in categories 1a, 10 & 21.
WHEN: Tuesday, August 15th from 3:30PM to 7:15PM
WHERE: CCE Erie’s property across from 5701 Burton Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127
COST: This program costs $10 per person and will include dinner.
